English Metas has proudly created a scholarship for unemployed professionals in Spain that will be awarding 3 winners each month. The winner may win a subsidy of 300-3,000€ worth of value in classes. We have decided to take a proactive approach to facing a global financial crisis by focusing on the growing number of unemployed professionals. English Metas believes that all business professionals have valuable skills to provide people with all over the world, and we wish to offer 3 different scholarships according to their level; Basic, Intermediate and Advanced.

The awards are intended for 3 unemployed business professionals who are interested in exchanging their professional know-how for English language training. This scholarship reflects the importance we at English Metas place on social responsibility within our organization. We would like to go a step further than just believing a company is only as strong as its clients, and declare that a company is only as strong as its surroundings; English Metas is surrounded by more than 1.5 million people. We have concluded that the best way to help other people is by offering them an opportunity to those willing to work for it. This synergy builds off the mutual relationship of two separate identities in search of the same goal; professional development.

Winners are selected primarily on professional tangibility. This scholarship will award the triumph of one of the most difficult concepts to understand in business and life: VALUE e.g. how valuable we are, and how to make that value tangible while learning how to offer it to feed market demand.

All submissions must include 2 CVs; one in English and one in Spanish. If only a CV in Spanish is received, we will assume that the contestant is a basic learner. A cover letter should also be attached to the CV. The contestant must also compose a strategic plan which will project the alignment of his or her professional skills to English Metas, and must demonstrate the added value he or she will bring to the company. The duration of the project will be determined by the sustainability of the relationship. Some projects may be as short as 2 weeks and some may be as long as 1 year. The project should not be more than 20 pages and no less than 1 page.
